<h1>Insanity vs P90X &#8211; P90X Overview</h1>
<p>P90X is a 90 day workout program that is based on the principle of muscle confusion. If you are like most people, you probably keep doing the same routines and exercises, using the same weights, the same rest periods, over and over and over. Sooner or later, the results you achieve are smaller and smaller, and you end up hitting a “plateau”. The philosophy behind Muscle Confusion is to avoid your body getting used to a particular routine, and therefore reaching this plateau. By changing up your workout routines, you muscles are going to be constantly challanged, when your muscles are being challanged they have no choice but to grow. Which means that you&#8217;ll reach your fitness goals a lot faster. To sum it up, if you want to get in shape and build lean muscle, then this is your best option.</p>
<h2>Insanity vs P90X &#8211; Insanity Overview</h2>
<p>Insanity is another home fitness program that is 60 days long, and based on the science of Max Interval Training. The philosophy behind this fitness approach is to perform bursts of high intensity exercises followed by short rest periods. These high intensity bursts can last from a few seconds up to a minute, usually spaced out by short rest times or lower intensity exercises. Believe me, with this kind of exercise you are going to burn fat much faster than you would doing regular cardio. Studies demonstrate that it’s a more effective way for losing fat and gaining lean muscle mass especially in the core and abdominal area. Also it has been demonstrated that it will help you build endurance and overcome fatigue.</p>

<h2>Insanity vs P90X &#8211; Pro&#8217;s and Con&#8217;s</h2>
<p>Some pros to P90X is that it’s a great all around workout that has some awesome resistance workouts as well as cardio workouts. There are also three versions of the program (Classic, Lean, Doubles) that really allow you to accomplish whatever goals you are trying to accomplish whether it be to lose weight, get toned, get ripped or to even add some size. Also, Tony Horton (creator of P90X) is a really great motivator. If he can&#8217;t get you pumped for the workout then no one can!</p>
<p>Some cons to P90X is that the workouts are a little bit longer then Insanity. To really do well in this program you&#8217;re going to need a good amount of time each day to do you workouts.</p>
<p>Some pros to Insanity is that the workouts don’t require ANY equipment. For me that is a pretty big pro, I don&#8217;t like having my house taken up by bulky exercise equipment, and the workouts are a lot simpler without all the equipment. Like I mentioned earlier, the workouts are also a lot shorter than P90X. Having shorter workouts makes it a lot easier for people to stick through the whole workout, and since the program is only 60 days long it makes doing the whole program easier as well.</p>
<p>One really huge con to Insanity is that this program is certainly not for beginners, if you&#8217;re new to exercise I would certainly avoid this program. Since you are just using your body weight as the resistance, it’s going to be very unlikely if not impossible to bulk up with the workouts.</p>
<h3>Insanity vs P90X &#8211; Time to Make YOUR Decision</h3>
<p>In the end it&#8217;s really up to you which program you choose. But remember to choose according to what kind of results that you want! If you want to slim down and lose fat, I would highly recommend Insanity. But, if your goal is to build muscle and get in shape, then P90X is your best option.</p>

The new P90X has got to be one of the most highly anticipated workout programs I&#8217;ve ever seen. I mean there are literally hundreds of thousands of P90X lovers just like myself who have long awaited the arrival of P90X2! In this P90X2 review I&#8217;m going to cover the good points and the bad points of P90X2, so hopefully you&#8217;ll get the whole idea of what this programs about.</p>
<h1>P90X 2 Phases &#8211; P90X2 Review</h1>
<p>Okay! To start of my <strong>P90X2 review</strong> I&#8217;m going to talk about the different phases. P90X 2 has three phases, just like the original P90X.</p>

As the title of the phase states, during a 3-5 week period, you&#8217;re going to be building a base and the foundation that will prepare you for the next two phases. This phase focuses primarily of core and balance. This will prepare you for the next two phases.</p>
<p>Phase 2: The Strength Phase. As the name of this phase also implies, this phase is based on building up your strength! However, this phase can be slightly longer than the first, as you can extent it to 6 weeks instead of five. During this phase you&#8217;ll be adding some Plyo into your workouts! This phase is by far my most favorite, during this phase you&#8217;ll improve your vertical jump, your explosive power, and speed.</p>
<p>Phase 3: The Performance Phase. I don&#8217;t think I need to tell you what this phase focuses on, but in case you&#8217;re completely clueless I&#8217;ll tell you. Phase three focuses on performance, and it can last anywhere from 3-4 weeks. During this phase you&#8217;ll be introduced to PAP, or Post Activation Potentiation. PAP workouts focus on doing weight training exercises, then immediately followed by an explosive exercise. I must admit I love these workouts too, but phase two is still my favorite <img src='http://www.exercisestoloseweight.biz/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>Okay, now lets get into the Pro&#8217;s and Con&#8217;s of my <a href="http://www.exercisestoloseweight.biz">P90X2 review</a>.</p>
<p><strong>Con #1. There Is a Lack of Cardio!</strong> For those of you out there that are cardio junkies, I&#8217;m sorry but this program may not be for you. <a href="http://www.exercisestoloseweight.biz">P90X 2</a> has literally NO cardio specific workouts, now I&#8217;m not saying that there isn&#8217;t cardio in the program, because there are certain workouts that get your heart rate fairly high. But if you want specific cardio workouts such as Kenpo X, or Cardio X, then this program is a bad choice.</p>
<p><strong>Con #2. This Program Is Not For Beginners!</strong> I will repeat myself, if you are a beginner to exercising, THIS WORKOUT IS NOT FOR YOU! <em>P90X 2</em> was designed for GRADUATES of P90X. So if you have not done P90X yet the I highly recommend that you do it before doing this program! I&#8217;m very serious about this, if you have not done one of Beachbody&#8217;s workout programs all the way through, do NOT do this program.</p>
<h3>P90X2 Review &#8211; An Overview of P90X 2</h3>
<p>Okay, now that we got the cons out of the way I can continue with my <a href="http://trek2befit.com/p90x2-review" rel="nofollow">P90X2 review</a>. Basically, P90X2 is an intensified version of P90X! (I know it&#8217;s hard to understand anything being tougher than P90X, but yes it&#8217;s possible!) As I&#8217;ve already mentioned P90X2 is split up into three phases, and depending on how long each phase takes you it is about 90 days as well. It basically incorporates the same concept of muscle confusion, I think we all know the idea behind muscle confusion <img src='http://www.exercisestoloseweight.biz/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
